iTeams Extreme - Next Generation
For Rising 6th, 7th, and 8th graders.
Explore the world of microcontrollers, electronics and circuits through Arduino technology. In the Arduino & Robotics track, learn how to program your very own microcontrolled robot and pit it against other students' robots in campwide competitions such as Dance Robot Dance and Robot Wars. In the Arduino & Games track, learn how to create game tools such as stopwatches, randomized dice, buzzers and sensors, then use the tools to build and play Arduino games.

Governor's School for Science & Mathematics
"GSSM's annual week-long residential summer camp provides a hands-on experience for science and tech enthusiasts. Courses include Astrophysics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Electronics & Programming, Forensics, Robotics, Pre-Med Anatomy and Marine Biology. Open to rising 8th, 9th and 10th graders in South Carolina."

Discover the endless possibilities of science, technology, engineering and math. Live on GSSM’s Hartsville campus for a week and experience an entire camp devoted to your favorite subject. Courses include Physics of Flight, Sisterhood of Coders, Genetics with DNA Analysis, and more!

For Rising 8th & 9th graders
Working through project-based, hands-on team challenges, learn what engineering is and what engineers do. Design blades and gears for a wind turbine, solder and build optical heart-rate monitors, and print 3-D prototypes of manufacturing or medical solutions for testing.
